As of July 2018 and, after a lifetime dedicated to conservation, Bob has deservingly decided to “pass on the baton” and enjoy his retirement.  While wildlife and conservation will always remain Bob’s driving force, he will no longer be making public appearances on behalf of the Bob Irwin Wildlife & Conservation Foundation.  With Bob no longer at the helm, but with his wholehearted support, the management committee of the Bob Irwin Wildlife & Conservation Foundation have decided to suspend operations of the foundation for the foreseeable future.  The regulatory burden associated with running a charitable environmental association, while understandably necessary, is currently beyond the capacity of our small voluntary team.  As such, as of 30^th June 2018, the Bob Irwin Wildlife & Conservation Foundation Inc. will no longer be accepting donations – tax deductible or otherwise.  The foundation will pass on all existing donated funds to wildlife rehabilitation and conservation groups that Bob has worked with over the years.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support, financial or otherwise.  We have been so inspired watching people from all over the world cultivate and grow a love of the natural environment, and then applying that passion to protect and conserve wildlife and ecosystems. Bob is optimistic about the future of our planet because of your dedication to conserving our incredible wildlife and its habitats.
